Reflection on my Professional Practice #2

My magazine covershot contrasts well with the masthead, the word “Time” is in red while my magazine cover is black and white so with good colour selection, most of the visuals are clear in the picture. I think the title of the main article embedded into the smoke is not effective. Some of the white words blend into the smoke too much. I like my cover due to its creativeness and originality as well as the professional outlook; i dislike how some of the smoke looks strange as well as the blending of the words “What smoking does to you” and the white smoke makes it difficult to read. If i were to do one more revision, I would change the colour of the smoke so there is more contrast and less blend as well as change the colour of the masthead “Time” to the colour white to match the look of the smoke.
